Long lines, but highly recommend waiting in line on yelp. Quick service and friendly staff. They know how to set your expectations. First round is the drinks. Nicely poured and decorated with Ipoh-style cups. Definitely making it a tea-time. You can always ask for free refills. Food was great resemble of Singapore/Malaysia tastebuds. Hainanese Chicken was silky and juicy. The rice was soaked in with chicken stock, but still dry and chewy. I loved the ginger sauce, which should be freshly made. The soy sauce wasn't thick enough, where original hainanese chicken should be dipped with. Nasi Lemak had its authenticity with the banana leaf as the plate. Very juicy and well-marinated beef, with a side of homemade fish paste.

My oh my does this drink menu bring back childhood memories! I was lucky enough to introduce the kids to Milo and get some Horlicks for myself. Sure, your local Asian market will sell you a huge tub of this stuff, but that is just too tempting to have in the house. Food was great and it comes out quick. Easy to see how this place has garnered several Bib Gourmands. Make sure you come here at least an hour before when you want to eat as the line can be quite long!

Comfort food at its finest. If you're craving Malaysian/Singaporean food this is the place. The food portions are big, taste is alright. Some dishes are bland but others are good. The Chicken rice is a must. It's a little different from how they do it in Asia but it's really good for the US. Service was extremely fast when we went. Got in and sat in 5 min amd food came out fast. Highly recommended to try this place out if you're in the area.

Came by today for some lunch, and since there was a wait time, I decided to join the waitlist on Yelp. When I joined, it was about a 15 minute wait but it was good because by the time I got there it was just right before I return. Also note that everyone in your party needs to be present to be seated. Considering there were 22 to 23 parties ahead of us the way it wasn't too bad as the service is also very quick. Once it was our turn, we were called in and quickly seated for a table of seven. After glancing at the menu and briefly looking at it before we already knew what we wanted and meet our orders quickly. We ordered a variety of items from the menu which included the Hainan chicken plate, pineapple bun with butter, toast with kaya butter, chicken curry plate, also chow fun on top of a few drinks. I personally got the HK cold milk tea. A few of the other people in my party also got hot tea. The food is super tasty, and I highly recommend the Hainan chicken as well as other items on the menu. Looking forward to coming back sometime soon!

Wow the turnaround time is insane. Sat down, ate and left within half an hour! Our mains actually came before our appetizer. + Roti Canai ($8.95): roti is crispy and chewy inside, perfect! Curry was savory and tomato-based. I prefer a sweeter coconut curry (8/10) + Hainan Chicken Rice ($15.95): extremely tender white and dark meat. Good ginger sauce and sweet soy, okay chicken rice (8/10) + Curry Laksa Noodle Soup ($15.95): lots of curry and fish flavors in the soup, which I enjoyed a lot (8.2/10)

I always like going go breakfast place but this surpassed my expectation. The price for the amount of food for breakfast (9-10:45am) Breakfast comes with 1 entree, 1 hot drink, and 1 side. I am Malaysian. I cannot express how thankful I am to see this restaurant still around because it taste amazing! One of the best Malaysian restaurant! Sambal on point! All their entrees were extremely delicious, nothing bad to say. Lunch could get hectic so I really enjoy going during breakfast time. Note for all other people: if you order the toast with kaya, you MUST order with butter. It'll never be the same without. Service extremely good. Tina was very attentive and helpful. Would come back again. 20/10!!!!!

I came here since my friend said it was Recognized by Michelin so I wanted to try it. First of all the pricing is very reasonable. Serving size is big . I ordered Curry chicken and asked for mild and I ate it all. That means it's delicious. They give refill on lemon tea I will definitely return to try the other dishes . They have soup and rice version. I Came on a week day so parking was easy. Servers are nice and fast . The restaurant is clean and simple.

I can't believe it! They are serving breakfast here! When did this happen?! I used to eat here but only during lunch and I'd always come back for more. The area isn't big but there is outdoor seating with heater. This is as close to authentic malaysian food as it can get (I've tried a lot of Malaysian restaurant from New York as well). I chose Set B: Nasi Lemak Curry Pork Skin Toast with Homemade Butter and Kaya Hot Tea with Lemon For only $13.95. After breakfast, they also let you take your drinks home. Perfect service as I also asked for more refill. The toast itself during lunch is already 30% of the price of my breakfast! For those who wants to give Malaysian food as try without paying too much ? Come during breakfast. For those who like Malaysian food or have tried Ipoh Kopitiam, get more food for less during Breakfast hour!!!! I'll be back for more breakfast for sure! (And I live about 40 minutes away, so it should tell you how good it is)

Love these Malaysian home style food. It's making us want to visit South East Asia again.
